Wedding Registration

So here we are, after more than 5 1/2 yrs together, we are finally tying the knot.

Looking back to that day, can't help but have mixed feelings.

Its a wonderful milestone to get married, on the other hand 1 can't help but feel time is passing by mercilessly too fast and it rarely allow us to savour the ppl or things we cherish the most.

But hey, today is a joyous occasion so lets get married, attend a wedding and be merry ya!!!:-)

Whoo hoo~~

We arrived at Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara (JPN) Melaka.

Registration ceremony : 10.45am

Marital officer : Pn Jamilah Bt Shafuddin

And how can we miss, the witnesseses:

My mum, parents in law, Pastor Moses Tay, Yeeling, Meiling and Kheeseong.

The officer officiates the oath taking.

Karling thinks "mua..haha..u can't run away from ME now~"

Signing the Sijil Daftar Perkahwinan.

Pastor Moses monitoring closely the proceedings (we caught only his blue shirt).

He is going to be the pastor for our church wedding.

Witness 1 : my mum. Approving her 1st son's marriage.

I'll always be her small boy in her eyes.

Witness 2: Mr. Chin, whom i used to call "uncle".

Then from that day on i call "pi".

..which of course at first was very awkward~~ :_l

Trust me. You could see it in my siblings-in-law's faces.  

Pronounciation of the new husband and wife took place.

We are officially now the pengantin baru.

Married in Melaka, the place where we spent the most time together, until now.

Ironic we knew each other in India.

Spent 2 memorable yrs there with a special community of our "indian" family - the Bread of Life (BOL).

Great ppl.

Nurtured and always watching over us, through thick and thin when we were students.

Of course until now God has never stopped being gracious to us.

We have been blessed with another new family and its only gonna expand.

Its great feeling to be married and same time know that u have awesome family support.

Mum and dad, wer gonna take off from here but we'll never 4get our origins.
